5 things everyone in “the boy industry” should know
1.  Bath in an antiseptic every night. No matter if there is bleeding or not. It will help keep all the germs at bay. My littlest son always talk about wet and dry bleeding. No matter if it is still bleeding or not – disinfect the little angels every night.

2.Wash around the toilet. Boys are not known for their concentration and aim during toilet time so they never get it all in the toilet. This does not improve with age. So when cleaning the toilet do not forget to spread the cleaner – make the circle bigger! A friend of ours always knew when my boys had been to visit. She could smell the evidence.

3.  Always take a torch when you have to do a night visit into their rooms. Small sharp objects – army men, toy cars, knives, nails etc – will be lying in wait for the unsuspecting mother to come on her nightly patrols.

4.  When they are small shopping is a breeze, but beware they are just lulling you into a false sense of security. They unleash the shopping gods when they reach teenager stage. Suddenly they want to come with you – veto what you buy them, only best brand names will do and they get so fussy about their hair. My teenage son refuses to go to our local barber anymore so if I have not made an appointment at the salon, we have a crises on our hands. He now has his favorite before school hairdresser who is different from his before holiday hairdresser!

5.  With each boy pregnancy you have you increase your risk of death by 7%. My kids have literally take 21% off my life. And who knows how much a husband adds to that risk.
Any additions ?
Cheers I am off to check my life insurance (and his)
