man flu noun

- a cold as experienced by a man who is regarded as exaggerating the severity of the symptoms.
But can I get man flu? Out of everyone in my family I am the prime target of man flu.
Too such a degree that I self-diagnose myself and commit to the diagnoses 100%.
If you want to look at man flu from a serious / scientific view – it might be a thing. Men and Women do experience some health challenges differently and they do react differently but for me it the way that sickness is handled that makes my man flu real.
I become totally “pathetic”: I can not bend down to scratch in the medicine box for some medicine, my head pounds so much that I might pass out…..: I can not make it to the tap to fill my glass with water for the medicine, that is if I could get a glass out of the cupboard in the first place …. And there is no way I can go to the pharmacy on my own, the thought of driving sends me off the edge …..and then there is the talking, payment, PIN number ….
On that note …this is different … The mother of all head-colds !
